Who is Shirdi Sai Baba for me and what kind of relation do I share with him?
Sai Baba of Shirdi is the symbol and essence of all religions. He gave blessings without discrimination to all before 1918 and even after leaving this earthly body he is showering his love from up above on his devotees by showing his miracles. He has no beginning, he has no end, all beings arise from him and into him they return.
As per my parents, I have a long association with God incarnate Saiji. Family started believing in him when I was only 1 year old. I have lived all these 25 years safely as his boon bestowing hand was on me throughout and this is my faith on him which makes me write confidently that he will make me stand whenever I fall in future too.
Even after putting strain on my mind, I can’t recall the time when I was too small and use to go for his darshans but going back to the memory lane, number of miracles are coming in my mind which happened in recent past. He has always saved me from situations which went beyond control. He has said in his holy book Satcharitra (the only book blessed by him in his lifetime) that one who will keep faith on me, I will take that devotee out from jaws of death.
He has proved this many a times by giving timely help. His blessings on me and my family are numerous. Whenever things went wrong, he made us strong, when nothing seemed alright; he showed a ray of light. He came as a father Sai when I wanted support, he acted as Saimaa when I wanted to share secrets. When I wanted freedom of taking decisions, he stood by my side as my saviour and suggested me the ways.
I have never looked for anyone as he gave me a shoulder to cry and supported emotionally. He came as Sister when I wanted to discuss something when it was not to be shared with anyone. I feel that he is omnipresent. He is always there for those who keep a faith in his holy feet and are patient enough to receive the sweet fruit of blessings on time.
I will end up saying few lines about Lord Sai (One God governs all):
He has made a difference, he has shaped my mind, he has always been there in everything I do, I hope one day he will be proud of me as I am proud to have him as my presiding deity. I pray him with folded hands to keep blessing the way he has been doing always as I always seek blessings from him. Without him there is no scope for future. Sai Ram!!!!!
